Jim Sommerville

Jim Sommerville recently retired as Chief of the Program Coordination Branch for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD). He is originally from Brookhaven, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Prior to this position, he was the Manager of EPD’s Mountain District Office. During his 31 year career with EPD, he has also served as the Coordinator of the State’s Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Program and as the manager of Compliance and Enforcement in EPD’s Water Protection Branch.
