Mr. Jackson is currently the Manager in charge of Environmental Emergency and Radiation Program for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, a part of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.  Part of his responsibilities include the oversight of emergency responders for chemical or radiological incidents that affect Georgia’s environment.  Additionally, Mr. Jackson oversees several functions, including radioactive material licensing, environmental radiation monitoring and emergency preparedness, and chemical risk management requirements. Mr. Jackson has twenty years experience with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. His  prior positions included Quality Assurance Manager, Laboratory Director, and Data Processing Manager.  Along with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Masters in Business Administration from Mercer University, Mr. Jackson has worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and in the chemical processing industry.
