Kirksey E. Whatley serves as the Director of the Division of Radiation Control in Alabama’s Department of Public Health.
Mr. Whatley was appointed to the Southeast Compact Commission in November 1983 to serve as an Alternate Commissioner and reappointed in September 1992 to serve as a Commissioner. He currently serves as Chairman of the Administrative Committee.
