Jim Sommerville is currently Chief of the Program Coordination Branch for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD). He is originally from Brookhaven, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Prior to assuming his current position in 2003, he was the Manager of EPD’s Mountain District Office. During his 31 year career with EPD, he has also served as the Coordinator of the State’s Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Program and as the manager of Compliance and Enforcement in EPD’s Water Protection Branch.
